I've lived in South Carolina for about two years now. I haven't bought any new guns in that time, and to be honest, I was unaware that this law existed.

The law is a 30 year old restriction on the number of guns you can buy a month. The number? Just one.

Although you've heard this argument many times, it remains a fact. Gun laws only affect legal gun owning citizens. Criminals don't get their guns legally. They steal them. New gun laws won't help matters.

Please contact Governor Sanford to let him know you support him repealing this law.
